Maharashtra Elections 2024: Zishan Siddiqui Has ₹37 Crore, Abu Azmi Owns ₹309 Crore, Check Out How Much CM Ajit Pawar Has

Maharashtra Elections 2024: The last day for filing nominations for the Maharashtra Assembly elections is Tuesday. In the meantime, many prominent leaders, including CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, have submitted their nominations. Most of these major leaders are millionaires. Speaking of the wealthiest leaders, Abu Azmi, who is contesting on a Samajwadi Party ticket, is among them. According to the affidavit submitted with his nomination, CM Eknath Shinde has assets worth ₹13.38 crore, while his wife has assets of ₹15.08 crore. Shinde has liabilities amounting to ₹5.29 crore, while his wife has ₹9.99 crore in liabilities. Shinde is contesting from the Kopri-Pachpakadi seat. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has also filed his nomination from the Baramati seat on Monday. He has assets worth ₹118 crore, with liabilities totaling ₹21 crore. Similarly, another member of the Pawar family, Rohit Pawar, is also a millionaire. He is contesting from Karjat Jamkhed and has ₹100 crore in assets along with ₹12 crore in liabilities. Zishan Siddiqui, who is contesting from Andheri East on an NCP ticket, has assets of ₹37 crore and liabilities of ₹9 crore. Recently, Zishan’s father, Baba Siddiqui, was tragically murdered. BJP leader Ram Kadam is in the race from Mumbai’s Ghatkopar West. He has assets of ₹71 crore and liabilities amounting to ₹23 crore. SP leader Abu Aseem Azmi is contesting from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar, with assets worth ₹309 crore and liabilities of ₹37 crore. Congress leader and former CM Prithviraj Chavan is contesting from Karad South, where he has assets of ₹28 crore and no liabilities. In this election, NCP leader Nawab Malik’s daughter, Sanaa Sheikh, who has adopted a rebellious stance, is contesting from Anushakti Nagar. She has assets worth ₹22.5 crore and liabilities of ₹3 crore. NCP leader and candidate from Kagal, Hasan Mushrif, has ₹14 crore in assets and liabilities of ₹80 lakh.
