Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai distributed appointment letters to 83 Assistant Engineers of Water Resources Department selected by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission in a program organized at Circuit House, Nava Raipur today. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has selected 80 Assistant Engineers Civil and 03 Assistant Engineers Electrical Mechanical of Water Resources Department. Appointment letters were given to them today.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai congratulated the newly appointed engineers and said that I hope that all of you will discharge your responsibilities with devotion and honesty. He said that Water Resources Department has an important role in agriculture-dominated Chhattisgarh. Our economy is dependent on agriculture. Development of agriculture is our top priority. For its strengthening, smooth irrigation facility and maximum expansion of this facility is also necessary. He said that there will be no shortage of resources for expansion of irrigation capacity. Water Resources Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of Water Resources Department Shri Rajesh Sukumar Toppo were present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is making every possible effort to recruit staff and provide maximum resources in all departments including the Water Resources Department. During the last 10 months, the process of recruitment has been started in more than seven thousand government posts. Together we will build a developed Chhattisgarh and fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to build a developed India.
Water Resources Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, while congratulating the selected Assistant Engineers on Deepawali and Rajyotsav, said that the intention of the state government is to build a developed and prosperous Chhattisgarh with the cooperation of all of you. He said that wherever you are posted, discharge your duties in the best possible manner. Try to provide irrigation facilities to the farmers till the last end of all the irrigation schemes in the state. Secretary of Water Resources Department Shri Rajesh Sukumar Toppo said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, work is being done promptly for the interests of the officers and employees of the department. In the last eight months, the benefit of long pending promotion of 380 officers and employees of the department was provided.
Assistant Engineers said they will contribute in making Chhattisgarh a leading state in agriculture.
Selected Assistant Engineer Mr. Pratik expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and said that by releasing the result of the long pending examination you have taken care of our feelings. We will work with full devotion and honesty and will contribute in making Chhattisgarh a leading state in the field of agriculture. Selected Assistant Engineer Ms. Prerna Tiwari expressed her gratitude and said that you have provided us with an opportunity for government service. We all were waiting for this for a long time. We will honestly contribute in the prosperity of the state. Senior officers of Water Resources Department were also present on this occasion.
