When the host hears this, he comments that he believes the big, high-value businesses that are on the show are purely for marketing purposes. Expressing her desire to know more about Shark Tank India from the entrepreneur, she says, “Ab ho gaya jo hona tha, check fatt gaya ab toh!” (Whatever was going to happen did happen and the check was torn up).

The businessman replies with a laugh and says, “Cheque nahi fata hain, Aman ki kismat fati hain.” (Not a check; Aman’s fate was torn). He goes on to explain why he made this claim and claims that he will be the first company on Shark Tank India to offer an IPO. He also guarantees the presenter that he will reveal the news in the next four to six months.

The pitcher went on to mention that Shark Tank India 3 has a pattern and when they reject a pitcher, they give specific reasons. When asked why he was so adamant about asking Shark Aman Gupta to commit to mentoring hours, he explained that he also pledged 1% equity in a single minute, which is no big deal. So asking for a commitment to mentoring hours was only fair.

However, asking the Sharks to devote hours was quite spontaneous and they had it on the Shark Tank India stage. He explained that when the Sharks presented the 20 million valuation, they questioned the reasoning behind it. In defense of their offer, they emphasized that, among other things, they provide mentorship and access to their vast network. And then he asked, “Doge toh kitne ghanto ki mentorship?” (What is the duration of the mentorship?)”
In the same episode, the entrepreneur revealed that their sales have increased since their presence on Shark Tank India 3. “Jis 8 lakh ka hota tha, us 16 lakh ka huya hain raw material ki humne bechte hain.” Anand said raw materials and sales have doubled.

Shark Tank India 3, Ritesh and Aman teamed up and offered Rs 20 Lakhs with 1% equity and Rs 1.3 debt at 10% interest for 3 years. However, Anand counter-offered 100 hours for 1% equity and Rs 1.5 debt at 10% interest for 3 years. Aman replied, “I can’t give you hours. I can make you sit with my team, I can even mentor you, but I can’t give you any hours. I want to support you, but I can’t have hours.”

Anand continued to negotiate and Ritesh told them that they had to trust. Anand continued to curse, which made Ritesh and Aman angry that Anand was indecisive. Both backed out and Anand and Amrit went without an agreement.

About dealing with trolls, Aman told ETimes TV, “Earlier in the beginning when people were saying negative things in the first season, then I felt like what happened, let’s fix it. Now it’s become a habit. You know what they say, ‘India me taaliyan aur gaaliyan saath me padti hai’.”
