Watch Movies for Rs.99 – National Cinema Day 2023: Everything you need to know
The event is scheduled for today (October 13) where movie buffs can purchase tickets at select theaters across the country at Rs 99 per person.
While some international films don’t offer Friday bookings, popular Indian films like Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, Bhumi Pednekar-led Thank You for Coming and Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj, among others, are still available at reduced prices.
The event will be held in over 4,000 participating cinemas, including well-known chains such as PVR INOX, MOVIE TIME, CINEPOLIS, WAVE, MIRAJ, CITYPRIDE, ASIAN, M2K, MUKTA A2, DELITE and more.
It is worth noting that the offer does not apply to recliners and premium formats (IMAX or 4DX).
Prices may also vary due to taxes and multiplex fees. However, if you buy tickets in person at the cinema counter, you will not have to pay any fee.
According to a PVR Cinemas tweet, food and beverages will also start at Rs 99 as part of National Cinema Day.
